Yesterday I thought I could not find my wallet.
I searched everywhere, my bag, my jacket, over and over, as if I’ll find it in some mysterious pocket I didn’t know I had.
It made me realize just how much I depend on the contents of my wallet and how technologically depended we are. I had to pay my student loan so I needed to deposit money into my checking account. I couldn’t do it!
I wanted to by bottled water that was on sale for a dollar. Couldn’t get it, cause my Duane Reade card was in my wallet.
I also had no money because all my atm cards were in my wallet.
Luckily, I found my wallet on my desk at work the next morning where I had left it. I’m keeping cash in the house from now on.
